Newbiggin Lifeboat Station received a large donation from Michelle’s School of Dance.
Members of the lifeboat crew and fundraising team were on hand to receive the cheque of £1316.00 which will go towards the running of the lifeboat station and rescue service
We would like to thank everyone at Michelle’s School of Dance for their hard work and support.

Marc and Debbie Turnbull visited the Lifeboat Station tonight (Tuesday 10th January 2017) and presented the crew with a cheque for £721.18.
The money had been raised over the Christmas period after the Turnbull family, from Ashington, decorated their home as well as selling food and hot drinks to members of the public who visited the display.
It was an honour to meet and personally thank Marc and Debbie for their hard work in raising this large sum but also the fundraising they have done in previous years for Newbiggin RNLI.

Newbiggin Lifeboat Station are pleased to receive the donation of a power washer from local paint manufacturer AkzoNobel.
All the equipment on station requires constant maintenance due to the environment it is used in and the washer will be a useful aid to help speed up the wash down process and prolong the life of the kit
.

Members of the North East Kayak Fishing launched from Newbiggin Bay for their annual fundraising event.
Conditions were ideal for the sport with 17 kayaks taking part and returning with good catches the largest fish being 6lbs.
Again for the third year the group made a donation from the event to Newbiggin Lifeboat Staion.
Today, 3rd January 2016 a donation of £200.00 was handed to Dave Upham, Newbiggin Lifeboat Treasurer by two of the fishermen who took part in the event.

Ashington Hirst Progressive Club have once again made a donation to Newbiggin RNLI in the sum of £500.
This is now their 17th year of supporting Newbiggin RNLI.
Many thanks to everyone for there continued support it is greatly appreciated.
