Marc and Debbie Turnbull visited the Lifeboat Station tonight (Tuesday 10th January 2017) and presented the crew with a cheque for £721.18.
The money had been raised over the Christmas period after the Turnbull family, from Ashington, decorated their home as well as selling food and hot drinks to members of the public who visited the display.
It was an honour to meet and personally thank Marc and Debbie for their hard work in raising this large sum but also the fundraising they have done in previous years for Newbiggin RNLI.

All the equipment on station requires constant maintenance due to the environment it is used in and the washer will be a useful aid to help speed up the wash down process and prolong the life of the kit
