Newbiggin Lifeboat

Reason: Missing Person
Humber Coastguard requested the launch of the Lifeboat to the assistance of Northumbria Police to locate a missing person in the Sandy Bay Area.
The Lifeboat launched and conducted a shoreline search between Newbiggin Bay and the River Wansbeck. At 4.20 am the person was located ashore by the Police.
