Reason: Vessel with engine failure
 
Humber Coastguard requested the launch of the Lifeboat to the assistance of a vessel in the Cresswell area which had suffered an engine failure.
 
The Lifeboat launched and proceeded north finding the casualty south southeast of Snab Point. The angling vessel with five persons onboard was then taken in tow and berthed in the River Blyth to await repairs.
