Atlantic 85 B  864 'Richard Wake Burdon'

The lifeboat has been provided from the legacy of Mr Hylton Burdon, who died in 2002. Newbiggin's lifeboat is named

'Richard Wake Burdon' in memory of Hylton's brother, who was lost at sea while serving in the Royal Navy.
