Newbiggin Lifeboat

Reason: Missing Person

H M Coastguard requested the launch of the Lifeboat at 2:11 am to undertake an inshore search from Newbiggin to Snab Point at Cresswell following a report from Northumbria Police of a missing person.

As the the crew were preparing to launch the person was located by others and the Lifeboat launch was cancelled by Coastguards.
