Newbiggin Lifeboat

Reason: Fishing Vessel needing assistance.
Soon after launching on a training exercise the crew of the fishing vessel "Girl Aimee" attracted the lifeboat crews attention.
The lifeboat approached the vessel to find it had just fouled its propellor on a drifting rope.
After informing H M Coastguard of the situation the crew assisted to free the vessel and then proceeded to tow it back to the beach.
Once "Girl Aimee" and her crew were safely ashore the lifeboat continued with its training exercise.
