Newbiggin Lifeboat

Reason: Persons in the water

​

H M Coastguard requested the launch of the lifeboat to the Cresswell area where people were reported to be in difficulties near or on an inflatable object.

The lifeboat launched and proceeded north at best speed but as they were passing Beacon Point information was received the persons had made their way ashore to safety. 

H M Coastguard then informed the lifeboat it was cleared to return to station and no further assistance was required from them.
